Backyard Golf is devoted to helping our customers enjoy the game of golf at home, in the office or where ever you want to play. Whether your goal is to have fun or improve you golfing skills, we sell products to help you achieve your objective. We are devoted golfers and have personally tested and approved all of the products we sell. We believe in and are committed to providing outstanding customer service. In order to serve you in teh best possible way, we have created the following overview of some of our customer service objectives and policies.
Customer Communications
We listen to you! When you call us, our automated phone attendent will direct you to an actual human who is committed to answering your questions. Should you call us when we're closed (for example), or send us an email or letter, we do our best to answer questions received via customer email, missed phone calls, or letters within 24 business hours of receipt. As best as we can determine, we achieve this goal 95% of the time.
Pricing Policy
We strive to offer the best delivered price on every item we sell! In the unlikely event that you encounter a documented lower delivered price on the same item elsewhere, we will match that price.
Shipping
We are constantly working to reduce our shipping times. Items that we have in stock usually ship within 48 hours of your order. Many of our larger putting greens require that the turf be cut prior to shipping and these items typically ship within two weeks of your order. Custom putting greens require that we develop a new computer design file to cut the turf. We strive to ship custom putting greens within three weeks of your order. Miniature Golf courses are cut to order and usually ship within three weeks of your order. We use a variety of shipping partners to carry your order. Any order that does not have a turf roll exceeding 108 inches in length is delivered via UPS or FedEx Ground. Orders with turf rolls exceeding 108 inches are delivered via a common carrier (like FedEx Freight, Yellow Freight, or R & L Carriers).
We also work hard to minimize your shipping cost. Our relationships with our shipping partners allows us to take advantage of volume shipping rates, which we pass along to you. However, if you have your own shipper relationship/account and you so desire, you can arrange to ship your own purchase. Send us your carrier's name and your account information, and we can arrange shipping via your carrier.
Our "FREE SHIPPING" offers, when they are in effect, apply to the continental U.S. (the 48 contiguous states). For our Canadian, Mexican, Caribbean, Alaskan, and Hawaiian customers, we provide free shipping to the border or port of shipment. Shipping costs from the border or embarkation port to your location are for your account. Additionally, any duties, customs, and/or local jurisdiction taxes will be for your account.
Upgrade Anytime Program
The only place you'll find this program is at Backyard Golf! One of the best features of a Backyard Golf Tourlinks green is its modular design. This enables you to easily increase the size of your green anytime you like. The Upgrade Anytime Program is designed to allow you to do this, without "breaking the bank." Return Policy
All Backyard Golf products come with an unconditional thirty (30) day money back guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, call and/or email us for a Return Merchandise Authoriztion (RMA) number. Then return your purchase to us in its original packaging with the RMA number prominently displayed in the reference line of your shipping label. Assuming your return is free of any unusual damage or wear and tear, we will refund your purchase price less the outbound shipping costs associated with getting the item to you originally (NOTE: this policy applies to all products, including "FREE SHIPPING" offers). Custom Greens and all greens sold for commercial purposes are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
