Constructed of 12 panels with a nominal footprint measuring 4' x 12'. The panels forming the outer edge of the green have an integral 1 1/2 inch "bump" rail (see Turnberry photos)
Includes approximately 42 square feet of putting surface area
Comes with 2 regulation cups and round Backyard Golf plastic head putting green pins
Ships in 5 boxes:
- Box 1 is 26" x 26" x 12" and weighs approximately 32 lbs.
- Box 2 is 26" x 26" x 12" and weighs approximately 50 lbs.
- Box 3 is 26" x 26" x 6" and weighs approximately 19 lbs.
- Box 4 is 48" x 10" x 10" and weighs approximately 15 lbs.
- Box 5 is 24" x 12" x 4" and weighs approximately 4 lbs.
Turf is precut with the holes placed to fit the plastic panel base. The club speed turf will roll between 10' and 12.5' on the stimpmeter depending on humidity and type of turf (Tour turf rolls fastest)
Panels are constructed of 100% recycled TPO plastic and are made in the USA
Each panel weighs about 7 lbs and can support over 750 lbs. each
Greens are certified for both outdoor and indoor use. Storing the turf indoors during extended periods of freezing winter conditions will extend its life.
All Backyard Golf greens are designed to drain rainwater in outdoor applications. Design drainage capacity is equivalent to a downpour of 5" of rain per hour. Once it stops raining, you're putting!
The plastic base and turf are covered by a 3 year limited warranty. The turf itself is warranted against UV deterioration for 7 years.
Turf life expectancy is 7 to 12 years, depending on use and environmental conditions
