Extended Information

Constructed of 19 panels with a nominal L-shaped footprint measuring 12' x 8'. The panels forming the outer edge of the green have an integral 1 1/2 inch "bump" rail (see Muirfield photos).
Includes approximately 64 square feet of putting surface.
Comes with 3 regulation cups and standard, round Backyard Golf plastic head putting green pins
Ships in 4 boxes plus a roll of turf:
- Box 1 is 26" x 26" x 12" and weighs approximately 50 lbs.
- Box 2 is 26" x 26" x 12" and weighs approximately 48 lbs.
- Box 3 is 26" x 26" x 12" and weighs approximately 18 lbs.
- Box 4 is 26" x 26" x 6" and weighs approximately 12 lbs.
- The turf roll measures approximately 8' x 12" in diameter and weighs approximately 30 lbs.
Turf is precut with holes placed to fit the plastic panel base and will roll between 9' and 12' on the stimpmeter depending on direction of putt.
Panels are constructed of 100% recycled TPO plastic and are made in the USA.
Each panel weighs between 5 and 7 lbs. and can support over 750 lbs. each.
Greens are certified for both outdoor and indoor use. Storing the turf indoors during extended periods of freezing winter conditions will extend its life.
All Backyard Golf greens are designed to drain rainwater in outdoor applications. Design drainage capacity is equivalent to a downpour of 5" of rain per hour. Give the Muirfield 5 minutes after a storm and you're ready to putt.
Warranty is 3 years on the green and plastic base and 7 years against UV deterioration on the turf.
Turf typically has a expected life of 7 to 12 years, depending on use.

I orginally bought the standard Muirfield to fit a specific spot in my basement. Backyard Golf modified the hole positions so the entire green would be useable in my location. I used my original green for many months, during which time I recommended the product to many of my golfing associates. With this green I've managed to drop my average putts per round to 28 and now my partners are regularly asking for my secret. This green is the secret! So I upgraded to a bigger, longer, customized version of the Muirfield and expect my scores to continue to drop.
