This is our Pine Valley green in prototype. Backyard Golf has a continuous, ongoing development program directed at improving our putting green offerings. This green is a prototype of one of our development ideas. The turf for this green is a nylon tufted putting turf with a 5 mm closed cell foam backing. This new turf is heavier than our normal Tour turf offering, so to keep the weights of this green's components at reasonably levels, we split the turf into 2 pieces. As the pictures show, the turf has a seam cut through it. The seam was CNC machine cut so the edges butt one to another perfectly. Not only can you not see the seam (see the pictures), we've putted on this green and ball roll is not effected by the seam either.
This is a brand new, pristine green (i.e., the panels, accessories, and turf are all new). The turf is a Tour-like nylon putting turf with a 5 mm foam backing. This turf rolls true and stimps between 11.5 ft. and 13 ft. (so it's fast). This type of turf has not performed well in other outdoor applications, SO BACKYARD GOLF RECOMMENDS THIS GREEN ONLY BE INSTALLED INDOORS. If you've got a basement room or some other indoor location that can accommodate this green's size, you can't go wrong at this price!
